Nakamir PRISM Platform for Shipyard Work Guidance
Nakamir will showcase Nakamir PRISM at the WEST 2026 Ship Services Conference, highlighting how shipyards can overcome skilled labor shortages by capturing expert knowledge and delivering hands-free, on-demand work guidance directly at the point of need.
PRISM transforms raw sensor data from AR devices, smart glasses, mobile phones, and cameras into structured, step-by-step work instructions. Shipyard experts can simply perform a task once, recorded hands-free using devices such as smart glasses, and PRISM automatically generates clear, visual procedures that can be searched, reused, translated, and updated across the workforce.
Designed for real-world shipyard environments, PRISM supports hands-free creation and retrieval of work instructions using smart glasses, enabling workers to learn and execute tasks wherever and whenever needed—on the dock, in dry dock, or aboard vessels.
With PRISM, shipyards can shorten training cycles, preserve institutional knowledge as experienced workers retire, and ensure consistent quality despite workforce constraints.
Nakamir PRISM is currently at TRL 8, with active deployments by initial industry customers.
