KPMG and Rhino.ai Advance Strategic Alliance to D

KPMG LLP and Rhino.ai are expanding their strategic alliance to help government agencies accelerate the replacement of legacy systems using AI-driven modernization tools. Their collaboration focuses on making large-scale technology upgrades faster, more secure, and more cost‑effective.

A major development from the partnership is the KPMG Application, Rationalization, Modernization, and Discovery (ARMD) solution, built on Rhino.ai’s platform. ARMD rapidly analyzes complex portfolios of legacy applications—including SaaS, low‑code, and custom software—and produces structured documentation usable by both human teams and AI systems. This capability shortens modernization timelines and reduces risks.

The ARMD solution recently achieved “Awardable” status through the Department of War’s Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, a channel that accelerates government procurement of AI/ML and data technologies. The solution has demonstrated:

  • 60% faster application discovery and requirements gathering
  • 75% cost reduction in modernization-related activities
  • Near‑perfect accuracy in automatically generated workflows and requirements

Leaders from both organizations emphasized that AI is no longer simply supporting modernization—it is fundamentally redefining it. They argue that agencies no longer need to be constrained by undocumented or outdated systems, as AI‑powered tools enable modernization cycles that previously took months or years to be completed in weeks.

Together, KPMG and Rhino.ai continue to support federal missions with secure, scalable modernization strategies that align with agency goals and produce measurable outcomes.
